Makali Temple Village is a lean-luxury sustainable brand building hotels and resorts in beautiful destinations. We are looking for a modern, youthful and experienced FoH Host with excellent presentation and communication skills.
Our 15-room villa hotel is located in the heart of Bali‘s most prestigious coastal village. This role is responsible for creating an outstanding experience for guests, keep the Front of House running smoothly and be responsible for the success of the guest experience. You should understand the relationship between back of house and front of house and communicate well with guests.
You need to be outgoing, social, energetic and well-presented. You will understand and have experience with front-facing roles and be comfortable greeting guests, anticipating their needs and communicating verbally and through message. You will be the first person a guest interacts with, the first person they see, and the person they are in contact with directly throughout their stay. It’s your job to ensure they arrive smoothly, their needs are anticipated, you upsell to them throughout their stay, and smoothly and accurately fulfil their requests.

Looking for FRONT OF HOUSE + OPERATION MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent English, written and spoken. An excellent grasp of English is paramount. Most guest communication is through WhatsApp
- Bahasa Indonesian preferable
- Minimum 4 years in front-facing hospitality company: F&B, events and/or high-end hotel, with proven hands-on experience
- Experience with Pre-Opening hotel rewarded
- ‘Can do’ personality and attitude; self-motivated; excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communicator – hospitality is in your blood
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong sense of responsibility with excellent organisational skills – 30% of this role is administrative
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guest Pre-arrival, Arrival, Departure, Concierge services – in coordination with GM
- Liaise with guests and control check-in, check-out, ensuring FoH and BoH is seamless in operation
- Ensure guest requests are responded to immediately (WhatsApp), with accurate and insightful solutions
- Responsible for FoH standards being met: consider arrival experience, check-in, visual standard of entry
- Responsible for creating standards and suggestions for guest experience – experience with laptop and ability to be proactive in meeting regularly with owners to review progress
- Experience with coordinating and managing multiple groups of people: guests, outsourced supplies, guest requests, F&B, laundry, drivers, events, bookings on/off property, upselling on-site F&B
- Establish system for guest management – complaints, escalation, follow-up
- Establish database for activities, events, laundry, drivers etc – for easy access and immediate guest responsiveness. You are expected to have an insightful answer for all guest requests
- Continued familiarity with Pererenan and Canggu restaurants, cafes, bars, activities, and specialised regional activities – for recommendation to guests
Head Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:
- Conversational English, written and spoken
- Fluent Bahasa Indonesian
- Minimum 4 years in Housekeeping supervisor role in hotel/resort with proven hands-on experience
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, ability to create systems for cleaning, focus on efficiency and mindset of constant improvement
- ‘Can do’ personality and attitude; self-motivated; excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communicator – hospitality is in your blood
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong sense of responsibility with excellent organisational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule housekeeping staff on/off
- Train housekeeping staff to improve skills
- Manage team, and be prepared to be hands-on in training
- Work on, and improve, checklists for cleaning
- Create goals with regular updates for timing of cleaning, systems and suggestions to improve
- Make suggestions to improve workflow, speed, and resourcing
- Manage inventory – cleaning equipment
- Manage laundry
